Estação da Luz lotada de torcedores na Abertura da Copa |
Dia 12.06.2014 com a Abertura da Copa do Mundo no Estádio de
Itaquera, as linhas 11-Coral da CPTM, e 3-Vermelha do Metrô foram
efetivamente usadas como transporte dos torcedores que se dirigiram a
Arena Corinthians.
O transporte sobre trilhos era a melhor opção para chegar ao local,
já que os acessos ao estádio estavam bloqueados, as linhas de ônibus
estavam com o itinerário desviado, e não havia estacionamentos para o
público comum.
Operação no Metrô
Horas antes da abertura do mundial um usuário esteve na Linha 3-Vermelha do
Metrô, que operava com baixos intervalos e pelo menos por volta do meio
dia não registrava lotação semelhante ao horário de pico habitual, no
ramal que em dias úteis transporta 1,5 milhões de pessoas por dia.
Devido a protestos, 3 estações chegaram a ser fechadas, e os trens não respeitaram as paradas; Belém, Tatuapé e Carrão.
Operação no Expresso da Copa
A CPTM foi mais assertiva que o Metrô nos anúncios dos trens. As
composições do Expresso da Copa anunciavam a próxima estação, e o acesso
ao estádio inclusive em Inglês, diferentemente do Metrô.
A CPTM disponibilizou o serviço expresso com trens
entre Luz e Itaquera com trajeto feitos em aproximadamente 19 minutos
sem paradas intermediárias.
Não foram registradas ocorrências significativas.

11-Coral CPTM, and 3-Red Subway were effectively used as transportation
of spectators who went to Corinthians Arena.
The rail transport was the best option to reach the spot, since the access to the stadium were blocked, the bus routes were diverted to the itinerary, and there was parking for the common public.
Operation on Metro
Hours before the opening of the world was in a user-Red Line 3 of the Metro, which operated with low range and at least around noon had not registered similar stocking the usual peak hours, the extension that carries on business days 1.5 million people per day.
Due to protests, 3 seasons came to be closed, and the trains did not respect the charts; Bethlehem, Vila and Carrão.

CPTM was more assertive than the Subway ads in the trains. The compositions of Expresso Cup announcing the next station, and access to the stadium even in English, unlike the Metro.
